Elemaria is an expression of fervent faith, devotion, and reverence in the form of rock music. From gentle, ambient grooves – mantra-like with repeating themes and affirmations, to explosive rock funk energy – grande, experimental, and progressive. We hope that this project inspires people to live their best lives. We hope it brings joy. We hope it makes you smile. We hope it inspires reverence for life.
Ashley Gilmore is the singer. Her voice will make you quiver. There is an undeniable power that her voice carries – it is sincere, and raw, but so rich and expressive. Her response seems super-natural. Music is her first language. With cat like reflexes she harmonizes and crafts melodies that steal your heart and leave you speechless.
Daniel Salij is the bass player. He is solid, constant, and allowing – gentle yet firm. Creating a space foundation on which the others can explore and create. He is the Earth.
Jacob Blanchard is the guitar player. A master of audio atmospheres and textures. Using multiple layers of reverb, delays and other effects, he paints universes you can taste with your ears. At times his playing is spacious and ethereal, and at times funky and articulate. His style is undeniable. Transcendental and experimental.
Dylan Piercey is the drummer. His skill and expertise glues the Elemaria project together. His groove is solid, holding perfect pockets, and his shifts in energy add so much to the structure of the songs and jams. Not only is he remarkably talented is also a very friendly guy.
